I was about to post my top ten of 2014 list but had a big weekend on eBay and bought 5 coins including (only) one that may make the ten. Of course at this point, a coin might be the last to arrive in 2014 or the first of 2015 so it is up to the post office to rule on what year they get accessioned. Now at December 16, I wonder if I can slip in another couple before the end. It is never too late and I hope most of you are buying jewelry and toys for the family. Who among us will get the last child of the old year and the first of the new? Stay tuned.
I just purchased a little ugly LRB this morning, but I think it may arrive before a couple others from overseas. As Doug says, stay tuned.

Ive bought all I have wanted, if something surfaces it will most likely come from overseas. Not sure if I wanna do a top 10 for the year or not.
You ancient guys gonna like this.......I ordered a couple of 'moderns' today. Hall of Fame......damn me......I apologize........but for meekness. They remain in my collection. Does that redeem Me?
If I'm lucky one of my last purchases of the year will arrive today. I don't think any of the coins in the package will make it to my Top 10 of the year, but they were two semi-mystery mixed lots, so you never know . Looking forward to seeing everyone else's favourites in any case.
I'm still waiting on three coins, but I'm not terribly interested in compiling a top-ten list. However, I've been thinking of writing up a retrospective, outlining my collecting themes through the year, and setting some goals for 2015.
I thought that too. My goals for this year I actually accomplished so thats a big plus. What next year will be?, Not a clue.
