I almost pulled the trigger on a 100 oz bar last night when it dipped that low. Hindsight as usual.

With your hindsight, I almost bought all 5 2014 5oz America The Brave series. I'm pretty glad I didn't as I suspect it won't make a profit in my lifetime. Instead I ordered the Philly mint complete set (so far) of ATB quarters. Far cheaper even with international postage and hopefully cheap enough to miss customs duty and exise charges! Not silver though

$16.29 at the moment and it has been flucuating between just under $15.00 to a 'high' of $16.60+ for the past week or so...typical movement on the silver market....Let me know when someone has the exact moment the price will dramatically fall and then the second it will sky-rocket...obviously, none of us can truly forecast such things, except in 20-20 hindsight...

I'll let you know the next time I buy something. It always goes down afterwards.

I agree with Jwt708, zooming in on the daily ups and downs of the market is only going to confuse you and drive you crazy. I would look for a trend and then jump on it. The good thing is, it will never lose its value completely. Good luck with your purchase

I have been trying to figure out what's going on, but I haven't yet. I think silver was falling because of the general rout of the commodities markets, but I don't know if that explains it completely.

I can predict what happens in the market. I will buy 20 ounces, declare bottom, and within 48 hours it'll drop 10% more.

Hmm. You suppose Ag could trade for USD 7./Ozt.? Can you explain this or point to a thread where it's been discussed in detail?

fwiw I think another 25% downside is possible but not definite - and retail venders might not deliver that kind of discount anyway, in a worst case scenario for PMs. They'll just jack the premiums.

I think Ag under $ 16. looks like a compelling Buy, but you never go all in on one target price. Incremental moves (3% reallocation) if you're serious and prudent.
