I bought 4 of these a couple weeks back and received them on Saturday. I like the design and the extra heft of the 1 1/4 oz coin is kinda nice. But...

These coins have a rough feel to the edge. On the reverse (Bison side), there is a bit of a sharp edge at the face/edge interface...almost feels like "flash" or casting lines. Not visible. It is consistent with all 4 coins.

Also, I know these are bullion, but man are they covered with marks. That may be primarily the fault of the vendor (JM Bullion). All 4 have circular marks on the faces and various small rim dings.

At least one has a major fingerprint as well.

No, I'm not going to send them back, but I won't be buying more.

I know what you mean. I gave up on Canadian bullion a while back. The quality was pretty lacking. A coin can have an appealing design, but that doesn't mean much if it is a piece of crap.

I stick with Silver Eagles and Libertads and also Koalas, Kookaburras, Pandas and Elephants if I want annual design changes.

On a positive note, some of the overpriced Canadian stuff is very nice, but it is.................overpriced.

    Live and learn I guess.
