Does anyone know a simple website I can bookmark on my computer that will pretty much *just* tell me in nice, big, bold numbers the current spot price of silver? I have been using kitco but I don't like their charts. I'd like the ability to click on another link to *get* the charts, but I just want to see the dollar figure. As far as smartphones go, I have an Android app called "Gold Silver Live Prices" that is pretty good. It would be even better if there was a widget that would allow the price to be right on my home screen. Thanks.
Not bad. Thanks! Any others? Edit: bkozak, your suggestion gave me another Google search idea which resulted in this: http://www.kitco.com/market/... still a little "busy" for my tastes, but better than their main page...
I agree with www.coinflation.com. It also has PM related,(promoting), articles, as well as base metal pricing. It even calculates melt value of US coins for you based on current pm markets.
When I had a droid I had a widget that had the price of gold and silver. You could set it up to update at different time intervals- an hour, half hour, 15 mins etc...
I forgot about Coinflation. Thanks! That'd be cool. I will look for that tonight. If anyone has the name of the app/widget, please let me know.
There is an app for Coinflation, at least for iOS (I have it installed.) I've noticed that their spot prices tend to lag a bit from time to time. Just an FYI.
www.kitco.com for current numbers including rhodium and the awesome historical charts that let you really set parameters to specifically meet your needs.
Best one by faaaaaarrrrrr. IMO http://www.silverrecyclers.com Little bit of everything there.... I use coinflation from time to time for junk silver bulk calculations...that's about it.
kitco has an app that has all the precious metals, stocks, etc. Even gives you the historical charts all on your phone. Great app.
I like Kitco, because I like the charts. They show how silver is trending, which is nowhere lately. It seems to like between $17 and $17.50. It's been there for a while now. Maybe it will break in some direction some time soon...
