Does anyone know of a good place to pull historical charts on bullion that can show percentage changes over time on gold/silver/platinum all on the same chart? I've been using the bullion etfs, but I know those are not perfect indicators of historical pricing of the actual commodities.

Is it possible that such a simple tool doesn't exist? Maybe there's a million dollar website idea.

Doesn't Kitco have charts like that?

They've got all kinds of charts, but I couldn't find one that overlayed metals over one another, just historical for each metal. Even if I could find the daily prices in a usable form, I could put that into an excel file and make my own chart.

In excel, it's not that hard to do. I built charts comparing CPI to Gold and Silver. I was looking at long term trends. I copied the yearly averages data from Kitco and CPI from a Commerce Department site. I'll try to post a pdf of it. If anyone is interested in the excel file, I'll be glad to post it (with moderator permission).
