Beautiful coin! I really like the silver Cougar one release along with this one. What I find humorous is that they put a $200 face value on the 1 oz coin. I wish I could buy that for $200!
Year of production is missing on the coins, rest is good, finally it counts 1 oz which would be worth about $170 + a piece.
Canadian Maple One Ounce is right now selling for $1,730. So they should have put a face value of $1,500 or at least $1,000. But low face values are a norm followed by almost all the mints.
thats my mistake i wrongly put calculation ( i wrote $170 ) 1 oz = $1724 as of now , 1 oz = 30 grams of gold.
whoa!! that is one beautiful coin!!! how i wish i could had one!! it'll be a very good investment, especially for future purposes,,
In 1994, 1⁄15 oz. ($2.00 face value) gold and platinum coins were issued, likely for use in jewelry. Owing to their lack of popularity, 1994 is the only year in which 1⁄15 oz gold and platinum bullion coins were minted.
