Silver? Parabolic?

I'm not entirely certain of what's being conveyed here, since I am a mere pebble in a fairly large quarry, but this seems interesting:

A Look at Silver Going Parabolic - SilverSeek.com

I'm not certain what they mean by parabolic - unless straight up is about the same thing. It's definitely an interesting development!

After reading it over and thinking about it, I now realize it's merely pointing out what we already knew - that silver is skyrocketing. But it does offer good insight into past silver prices, and to me indicates that silver may not be something to get into at this point in time.

What if the investors start flooding the market with their silver, after we start buying some up? They'll make dough, we'll lose dough, and the next thing we know, they're eating bread whilst we're eating crumbs.

I think what they're trying to get at is where the top is, and if they can get that right of course they'll be rich and so will any of their followers. It's not my strategy at all, though, I'm in precious metals for safety.

I see where you stand, there. But depending on how far back you invested...now might just be a good time to unload. I'd rather not be standing on a peak, instead it would make more sense (to me) to cash out while the getting's good, and not worry about whether it goes up a slight bit more. Spikes like these always seem to be on the verge of collapse.

To that I'd say that there is more of a downside to cash than there is to precious metals. Of course, you could sell some of your silver and gold to buy other necessities like guns, ammo, and other long-term supplies that you'll need when the economy collapses.

Bingo... This is my number one reason for this... now if silver was to theoretically hit 300 an ounce? oh baby i could have some fun!

Considering that I live in hillbilly hell as where I'm at, I only need open my closet to find my arsenal. It's not to shabby, if I might show some pride there.

But at this point in time, I'm concerned more with eating than what I'll do if all hell breaks loose. (If all hell breaks loose, I don't have reason to stick to morals and ethics, now do I?)

Not following morals and ethics in my area will get you shot for sure ;)

Lack of laws does not mean you can go and pillage everyone for supplies... and if you honestly think your "arsenal" would help... You are sadly mistaken, as I know plenty whom could help me in a pinch with anything up and to a tank... Prepare now with as much as you can, food, water, etc. then fan out into other areas.

Think what you will, but you're probably not taking into account what human desperation can turn people into.

Who you call your friends might just be stabbing you in the back quite literally, if it means they can help their clan make it another week using supplies they "borrowed" from you. Don't take that lightly - people really are like this. The scary thing is, they can be like this when things aren't so desperate.

Sounds like you've had some pretty bad life experiences there.

My group is just fine... trust me on that ;)

I have arms enough for a small army as well... to be used when deemed necessary to the safety of my family and friends, and our supplies... in a PAW world...
