I was doing laundry this morning, and I found a ring in between the crack of the dryer door and the dryer itself. Thinking it was my wife's and she lost it, I got down on one knee and gave it to her, as a joke of course, the whole already married thing... anyway. Well, she said it wasn't hers, and Googled the engraving on the inside of the ring. Turns out, I found a $224 ring in my dryer. We're just renting the house, so I'm assuming it was from the last tenants. Talk about a score. I pretty much found my wife an early anniversary present, and it didn't cost us a dime. Speaking of dimes, there's also a dime stuck in the same spot that I can't get out. Sure glad I could the ring at least.
Nice, lucky you! I wish I could find hundreds of dollars worth of metals in MY dryer..... The best thing I ever find in there is lint.... And sometimes a penny
Wow, how about that, a 224$ ring, that's really lucky. Best luck I've had was when I found two 50 dollar bills on the ground a few years back, but I went out with my family on a movie, and they said it's only fair to share, I had to give a 50 dollar bill to my cousin because it was her birthday.. But still a nice find I guess. As for you, 224$, maybe it's a magical ring-making-dryer? Check back in a few hours, you might find another ring!
Lucky for you! I would sell it for some extra cash and than turn around and buy some high purity investment grade silver or gold.
