Extracting Copper from Used Electronics Worth it?

So, do you think extracting the copper from old and used electronics and wires is worth it, for what little amount you get? I have been thinking about this lately, but am not sure it will be worth the time and effort to go about it.

I am sure that it depends how much you have. My nephew does this on the side and earns a little extra spending money.

 

All depends how much electronics you can get hold of really. This is something I too have looked into and have seen its easy to get hold of old electronics for free.
