It is a business acting as a broker. This firm is a business specializing in trading stocks. If a sales person is working for a securities or commodity brokerage firm, he is called broker. In this context, a broker is an exchange member who is executing the purchase or sales order. He is doing this as a service to clients of the firm for which this salesman is workinng.
