The word broker comes from Anglo-Normandian brocour (small trader). Its a party that interacts between a seller an a buyer (example for broker: Online-Broker-Vergleich). If a broker is also a seller or buyer, he becomes a principal party. Somebody who acts on behalf a principal, is a distinguish agent.
Do you happen to know how much a broker gets paid? Or if they get a certain percentage? Just wondering.
At traditional brokerage firms a broker will get paid according to the commission schedule for whatever product he/she sells. Stock brokers sell more than just stocks.
A good and brief definition of broker. I liked it. BTW, is their international percentage fixed for brokers how much it can take in making a deal done?
