Extremely rare coins from the Roman Empire and Greece still exist and were minted in the Middle East and other regions. Many ancient coins are affordable enough for the person who wish to collect them. These coins that have a history dating as far back as Constantine the Great, Alexander the Great, and even the coins of Julius Caesar or Nero can still be found at reasonable prices. In the Middle East there are coins that were quite different, which were terracotta tokens. These were minted in the 11th and 12th centuries AD in the Persian Gulf. One of the most impressive things is that these are affordable no matter what the collectors’ budget and can be found at auctions.
My grandfather had a Roman copper coin with caesar on it. You could barely see the features of the coin. I was always fascinated by it. Wish I knew where it went to. Lost.
Roman coper coin is very old. I would appreciate if you have put the pic on my email ginger@softnwords.com
Like I said it was lost when my grandfather died back in 2005. I truly wish I still had that I thought it was so unique.
That is too bad that the coin is lost. I would have loved to have seen it. I am amazed with old coins and this one sounds interesting.
coper coins are not minted anywhere; i guess. It is sad to learn that you lost that copper bullion. Ancient coins are always precious.

I'll do a little search on what's left on my grandfather's collection and see if we have that roman coin with that lady face in it. Is that one of the roman coins?
