Even that strange initiative does not want the Swiss franc to be backed by gold. They suggest 20%, and are against selling any gold reserves that the SNB has. Also, they would like to bring all of the SNB's physical gold to Switzerland. Oh well, we will see where that goes ... Note that this is an initiative, not a referendum. In the past 40 years there have been about 150 initiatives, and I think nine of them were successful ... Christian
