Bought 1 with Ebay bucks. Doesn't look as nice in hand. 1,000,000 pieces is a lot, so I doubt the premiums will go up in the future.
That's too bad to hear I hope I like the coin better than previous posters, but I admit, I took a gamble with a low premium purchase. If anything, I have 10 presents for the kids in the future. S
I bought one and I think it looks pretty nice. Doesn't get blurry to me. Maybe it's an eyesight thing JBGood lol jk. But honestly I think the design shows up well on the coin.
OK,OK...it's a nice coin. I just think it could use some contrast. The entire central device (the alligator) is the same so there is lack of detail. its not as bad as the 2013 Canada Bison is a lot worse than the alligator! Compare these 2 to the 2011 and 2012 Kookaburra and its no contest IMHO.
I was going to purchase this coin, but definitely having second thoughts after reading some of the posts. I'm sure there are better one's out there. Still, I like crocodiles
When I buy a coin I buy it because I like it even if others don't. If you can, go to a coin show, and see the coin in person. Then make up your mind. Everyone has an opinion but it may not be right for you
