there is one now bid up to $129.00,,,,Prob literally only a few dollars of "silver plate" on them..That's about melt of 5 common date Morgans
New listing is gone. Keep an eye on aboncom's listings -- it appears that they will not be allowed to add any new listings for 30 days. We'll see whether their account manager has the wherewithal to overturn the restriction. It'll be pretty cool if they don't.
There are at least 2 other listings right now for identical items as the one earlier, although they're "different" sellers...or at least different seller IDs....
It's a common item; like I said, I have one myself, included as part of a larger lot. I'm not surprised people are trying to sell them, even though it's against eBay's current policy. Feel free to report any other similar auctions. I'm getting to the point where I only report the ones that seem overtly deceptive (calling silver-plated coins "silver", for example). I'm not sure I care if people are selling clearly-marked novelty reproductions, but if they're fishing for naive buyers who don't realize what they're going to get, I'm happy to see eBay's overly-broad brush sweep them away.
Looks like the 30-day vacation got commuted to two weeks. Their last new listing had gone up on Feb 4, but new listings started appearing again on Feb 18. Only a few "perfect SGS 70" items and lots so far, but I'm sure the flood will resume by and by. Oh, well -- maybe they'll step in it again enough times to get banished for good.
Well, apparently those listings on the 18th and 19th were just some sort of glitch -- 30 days expired today, apparently, and they're back with a vengeance, with 1068 auctions as of now and many new ones per minute. Mostly "perfect" SGS-slabbed coins, which of course are technically not in violation of eBay policy. If you do happen across auctions of theirs that violate eBay policy, please report them, and post them here as well.

Sorry for dredging up a dead thread, but I just really felt like providing closure here as well. Abon coins busted (must read)
