These are nice. What country are they from?

 

USA. From what I was told, this is the 1st of a 4 coin series. They're trying to get their ducks in a row before an official release. They're on ebay now, there were 300 or 400 of the proof strike obverse minted and there are not many left. I'm not sure when they'll get it up and ready for official release and sale, but it should be soon. I got these from a buddy that I buy, sell and trade with all the time. He got them rolling and they appointed him project director of this line. When I know the who, what, where and when, I'll gladly let you know.

I really like that they're doing something other than "end the fed" and all the other stuff that has been the fad recently, so I'm in on this one...

 

oh cool yeah let me know when that happens. Yeah I know what you mean, as much as I distrust the feds I think those are kind of cheesy coins. Im not a big fan of the zombie ones either although I am a huge fan of the Walking Dead series on tv. I mainly like the coins that are nice to look at and that dont have scissors in some guys eyes. haha. some of the zombucks are pretty cool though just not the scissor one.

Thanks for the info on the new Heidi Wastweet, guys. I just got some Veritas Lux Mea, 2013 Libertads, and 2014 Maples (my first Maples ever.) After starting to stack a couple years ago, I thought I would stop buying at 20oz. Now I'm approaching 100oz; I'm addicted!



There's another Heidi Watsweet related coin rolling out (her sculpture, Gary Marks design.) Right now, the proof is only on EBay; word is there is a website in the works. It's a real beauty. Look at that edge!

 

That proof is amazing! I have heard nothing about this coin, you say the US Mint will sell these soon?

 

It's a private mint that is producing these. It's interesting that you ask if the US Mint will produce these because it looks like something they would. Both Heidi Wastweet and Gary Marks serve on the Citizens Coinage Advisory Commission, so their world is steeped in US coinage.

 

Hey guy's I've been adding alot of silver to the stack in the last couple of month's, this is a little bit of it, I don't even remember what I've purchased. But here's a little sample of it. Also I've been adding different forms of silver such as canadian "junk" silver, my first 5oz silver town bar and of course more silver eagle's I also finally completed my $100 face in 40% half's. Keep on stacking!!!

2014 wedge tail eagles

 

I don’t collect bullion coins but the US silver Eagle is so darn pretty in proof.

This coin spoke to me at our local coin show where this fellow wanted to sell everything he had at a discount. I took advantage of his desire to sell & took his 2011-W in NGC PR70 (including a little box made in China). I see these things listed raw on EBay for more than I paid.

I’m very happy with the coin’s price and prettiness.
