Does anyone know where one can buy the "P" mint mark version of the 5oz silver ATB quarters NOT slabbed and graded? From what I have seen so far all of them are slabbed bullion release that the big dealers get. Someone must sell those vapor blasted ones with the "P" on them as ungraded singles.
I had five listed here in the B/S/T section for basically what I paid for them from the mint and no one was interested...so they've been consigned to my auctioneer friend while I'm in NZ for a month. They'll be part of his Memorial Day auction (I'll post a link in the Auction Listings section.) I'm just saying...they are out there if you're willing to pay a reasonable price for them. If you're looking to get them at melt price...well, best of luck to you. I might suggest dealing with the Craigslist crazies.
I have all the collector pucks. As mentioned above, you can get them on the bay. You may want to check out my "Puck Cents" post for the market value vs mintages on these babies.
I'll check Ebay but I have only seen the shiny ones I can get from the mint and I like the vapor blasted. I was hoping to find a dealer that sold them at a decent price but thanks for the info.
The 2014 P Shenandoah just went on sale at the US Mint. 2014 P Smoky Mtns is also still available. These are the OGP Vapor Blast collector versions, not the plain bullion versions.
They ATB collector version coins are not as plentiful as the ATB bullion version coins on eBay. People seem not to want to let go of the earlier years, although I just won one that I needed recently on eBay. TC
Duhhhhhh. I guess I was under the misunderstanding that the ones the mint sold were not the vapor blasted coins but I now stand corrected.
