Anyone out there have recomendations how to buy silver at lowest price? near or at spot? it seems in my brief research merit gold.....thank you in advance for your knowledge.
Provident Metals for easy purchases. If you are patient, experienced, and know what you're looking for, find people who want to sell. This has worked very well for me in the past because I'm willing to offer more than coin, jewelry, and pawn shops. I usually let them tell me what they're looking for, because I have actually encountered people willing to sell for spot, or in a couple of cases, less than spot.
What form are you looking to buy it in? You can buy a contract and take delivery for spot. You can buy 100oz bars for about 45 cents over spot, or 10oz bars for 79 cents over spot, rounds for about a $1 over spot, all online and you don't have to spend money on gas.
I was seeking a range of denominations, but primarily 100 ounce bars. 3-5% over spot seems like a hefty premium (or is part of that the minting cost?). What are the fees if i buy a contract and take delivery? where is the pick up point? the CME? thank you
