Solid deal for a small quantity: http://www.ebay.com/itm/2014-1-oz-S...on_Coins&hash=item20df085208&afepn=5337259887
bkozak33, I think you're right - silver hasn't bottomed yet. As real inflation surges, a lot of PM's are going to be flushed out as small-time stackers need money for something unexpected. Around Columbus, groceries are already 10% higher than a year ago, and they say beef and dairy products will skyrocket this summer, even worse if the California droughts persist. I'm hoarding cash right now.
Maybe they only allocated a certain quantity for that sale price. That eBay deal was better than their own website, which I found odd.
eBay policy, to keep people from avoiding eBay fees. Basically, you can not have Buy It Now items for a higher price than your website offers them for.
Looks kinda like a bait n' switch. Briefly offer a great price, then switch to a ridiculous price. I'll stay away from this seller.
Not really, its called a sale and very common. They aren't making any money at that price, they sold over 9,400 lots at that sale price. That's over 47,000 silver eagles. Apmex is a trustworthy seller. If you are still looking for silver eagles JMBullion has eagles for 2.49 over spot w/free shipping and a $5 coupon code if you spend $300+, $10 coupon code if you spend $1,000+
Incorrect, almost all the items sold by Apmex on Ebay are higher than their website offers them for to pay for EBay's cut+Paypal's cut.
Are you sure about this? Maybe at the bulk pricing for 500+ but at the smaller quantities the eBay prices are better. Just for Buy it Now does this apply.
I'm sure, now that the sale is over the price on Ebay for 5 2014 silver eagles is 143.75, the price on their site for 5 2014 silver eagles is $120.80 before shipping. Pretty much every item on Ebay buy-it-now is more expensive than their site unless they are having a sale.
