    not bad, I will say that most people like the pre 65s better though

    There are markets for both.

    I bought this for the silver content, but if I wanted to, I could easily flip the half in a 2x2 on ebay for $12-15. Of course 1964 silver proof Kennedy halves typically fetch a little more, but there are plenty of completed listings where they sold for around $10.

    Either way, all the coins will go into 2x2's. I will keep the silver, and the clad proofs will be sold along with others when I accumulate enough to make it worth my while to sell them in bulk. That's what I do with silver proof sets. ;)

    blaubart, I think you did great so don't worry. I just am biased towards older crusty circulated silver :D However proofs are just as good :) Keep it up!!!
