Kind of regret not buying a little when silver spot was recently hovering in the low 19's.
Would love to get a Perth Mint 2014 Kilo Lunar Horse since I think it's a beautiful design. Also, some 1 oz. koalas, kooks & 2014 Somalia Elephants.

Whatever I can find at the best deal. Except generics. Can't stand generics. In the past week, I've picked up some uncirculated 1930s-40s Mexican pesos, some mixed junk silver, an assortment of random foreign silver at spot, and some Perth Lunar 10 ozs. Have to keep it interesting.

I'm surprised at how often when I've been in the local coin shops lately, folks are walking in there to sell. From what I've overheard, 15X face is the going rate of what they're paying cross the counter for silver U.S. issues, which is roughly around spot. I don't know how they're making the rent, at least not off these sorts of transactions, since the premium they're charging on the other end isn't much. Of course, there may well be an occasional numismatically valuable piece mixed in there.

I only use reputable vendors like Apmex who get their new bullion directly from the govt. mints.

Well, waiting for a $15-$18 spot price didn't work out so well... :(
Placed an order the other day for some new Perth mint 2014 silver bullion.
Didn't order as much as I planned hoping spot will reverse back downward (hopefully)

Ordered some 2014 Perth Mint bullion (Koalas & Kook Privy) with spot at $20.50 & then some more at $21.50. I'm skeptical we'll see sub-20's again this year... although still hoping for it.

    Howdy folks,

Glad I was buying when I did. I went ahead and bought my tube of ASEs and had already grabbed other stuff. Where I'm playing now is with the silver miners. ASM and MGN in particular with some SIL (silver miner ETF), PAAS (pays 3.5%) and of course my SLW. Check out the silver miners at kitco if you want some nosebleed action.

    peace,

    rono
