Hello everyone. Been a tough year for me. Stage IV cancer, two little boys and a wife. My dad had left me a little tin of junk gold. Basically what I have is this: 3 sets of 2 links labeled as 10k 1 odd link labeled 10k 1 odd link labeled 14k And about a 7 inch bracelet that is broken and it looks like it is also 10k I have to sell these to help with Christmas. I figure I'll get nothing for them. But I found this site and though if anyone knows..... Can anyone give me an idea of what to expect when I walk into the shop and how much is too little to take (if any) Thanks in advance chris

Sorry to hear about your situation. Can you get the gram weights of the pieces and if you have pics, that'd be good too.
Thanks to everyone for the well wishes. Stage IV cancer is considered uncurable and terminal but so far all I've done is kick its butt. I don't have a scale. But I can upload some pics. I saw some similar cuff links sell for $40-$70 a pair on eBay which is encouraging but I need fast money so I guess I'll take them into a shop tomorrow.
I apologize for so many posts but I couldn't figure out how to get them all in one post. I included a couple of my sons 1 gram silver pieces for scale. And just to correct myself the bracelet is 14k and one of the complete sets of links is 14k. The 14k links are in the second pic down if that matters.
