What price do you consider a good buy/sell price for "junk" silver?

I like Firearms that is where I spend alot of my forum time I traded some gun parts for silver and got it below spot. You couls do this with any other hobby becuase the people are interested more in that hobby weather it be comics, stamps, playing cards so on then they are silver
