2014 Canadian Gold Gilded Silver Maple Leaf 5 Coin Set

On sale now 10/01/2013 with a mintage of 9,999 sets, I like the Reverse Proof Silver Maple Leaf 5 Coin Sets. The 2014 5 coin fractional set is Gold Gilded this year and very attractive, I know that some people may not like collecting coins from other countries but I do. I do not know how to down load public images yet maybe a Cointalk member can help me out.

Gatewest Coins has these 5 coin fractional sets at $227 US with free shipping. Just a 2 set limit .

I ordered the 2 set limit, these are pretty nice sets. I also tried the Royal Canadian mint web-site, jammed up.

 

Canadian Coins & Currency also has them at $249 with free shipping. Ebay pre-sales are at $370

 

I think this is the set, I'm new at public images.

 

Conversion is, list price $250 - US conversion is about $242. It looks like Gatewest Coin has the best price right now while supplies last.

 

Gatewest Coins has lowered there order limit to 1 set per household at $227 plus $5 shipping. The Royal Canadin Mint still has them listed at $250 canadian with a 3 set limit.

Not true. I read this short thread and went right there and ordered my two. Just waiting to hear they are shipped. Hmmm, wonder when that will be. They look good and I'll just stash them in the safe and let them veg.

I live in Michigan not to far from Canada and the Canadian coins are very popular here. I don't believe that the the Royal Canadian Mint has shipped them yet, I have bought stuff from Gatewest Coins in the past they are a top notch company. It takes just a few more day's for shipping across the border but there packaging is very good to protect the sets.

 

I take that back, the Canadian Mint has started shipping sets. Colonial Acres Coins have them at $250 canadian, 18 sets in stock. My CC has been charged and cleared, Gatewest Coin terms say ship within 5 day's Canada Parcel Post ~ Shipping to USA 3 to 5 weeks delivery.

 

lol ~ 3 to 5 weeks for delivery might seem like a little bit of time to get your set ! Not when you compare it to what cointalk members are waiting to get sets from the US Mint ~

 

They charged my CC the other day too but the website still says backordered when you go look at the coins. So do they have them in stock or not? Most other outfits...like the US Mint and UK's mint don't hit the card until they ship.

 

Hopefully in the next few weeks, this is a good dealer and I have never had a problem with them. Google there address ( Google Map ) and look at there coin shop it's pretty nice.

 

I checked it out some but will more when I have the time. Anytime I can buy something cheaper than the mint I like that.
