newbie here, just bought some heraeus 1oz silver bars and had question ive been wanting answered. some heraeus silver bars have three roses on them and say heraeus edelmetalle hanau, and some say heraeus and have a big one on them. why is this? are the ones with a one on them newer versions? i ordered 4 of them and i like the ones with the three rose mark better, just looks better i think. what ones do you think i will get?
Which version was pictured on the website you ordered them from? I'd guess that'll be the version you'll get.
yea it was the three rose design and thats what i figured id recieve. just wondering why there is the different designs. i started thinking that maybe places just posted the picture of the three rose design cause it was better looking but whatever heraeus bars was in their inventory was what you would get. i just didnt know if they quit making the one with the roses or not. well any reply appreciated
I'm sure they just changed the design at some point, I don't know which design is newer. It's probably not a guarantee that you'll get the three roses design, but likely.
Guess the one with the three flowers is the current one. After all, that is the one that the company depicts: http://heraeus-edelmetallhandel.de/...llbaren/heraeussilberbarren/Silberbarren.aspx May have something to do with the company name/history too: http://heraeus-edelmetallhandel.de/en/bankenundanleger/heraeusedelmetallhandel/History.aspx Christian
yea i looked at that site, does have the picture with three roses on it. it is weird that some are different though. thanks for the reply. not sure if i want to post a new thread, but how come some buffalo rounds say one troy once real small on the front. i have two of them and havent really been able to find any more like it. im guessing their older ones? no big deal just curious
Multiple mints produce buffalo style silver rounds. They probably make them at least slightly different to avoid any copyright issues or they just want to be unique.
