since I bought a graded 70, I canceled my order of 1 from the mint.
2 is just not in my budget right now.

I think the regular proof could be a key coin.

Its a shame that the deadline is approaching but the day the mint adjusts prices has passed. Gold's dump today makes it harder to pull the drigger for the budget minded

Any idea how many RP &" proof AGB were sold?

These coins sell for a significant premium over spot do you think they'll hold their value over time?

understood about the budget minded... but none the less, the increase was good concerning mintage.
If the price would have remained at 1640FRN, I believe we would have seen 50k+, prior to the final day.

Compared to other AGB issues are the number of sold coins in line with other years?
    Higher? Lower?

Someone earlier said that the regular buffalo could be a key date coin with the rp selling 50k

    Any thoughts on this?

I want a 1oz coin and trying to decide on regular buffalo or AGE proof.

Which one has better upside for 2013?

    all depends on the mintage...
the proof AGEs seem to hold a stronger value. IMO, this is because there are more collectors of Eagles than Bison, although the bison have a lower mintage.

as far as dates...the 2012 bison Bid = 2000FRN. This comes behind '08 while all others have the same price.
The ASEs seem to be 100FRN over the 'common' proof bison.

I was a child and had no clue about PMs or coins for that matter. So I missed out on the Eagles. I like prefer the pureness of the Buffalo and had the Numi itch when they were minted, so they are my personal preference for modern numi.

The American Silver EAgle seems to be $100 over the "common proof bison?

Just check my PCGS account and my gold RP buffalo that I submitted on the first day of the ANA show was graded PR70 with the ANA label . Only 292 are PR70 with the ANA label. Also just got the one I order from the Mint delivered today. Was thinking about sending it in for First Strike don't want to push my luck trying to get another 70.
