Last Christmas, I was part of a large groupbuy for the Panda in another forum. When we ordered it, they promised it would arrive in a week. It took them 2 months to ship the stuffs to us (in Canada). I wasn't the one that organize the groupbuy but I felt sorry for the guy that did. There were times we were unsure if we ever get the coins. They keep on promised it is coming, it has been shipped and then they appearantly sold our stuffs to others and we had to wait for new shipment. We refuse to do business with them again
They do have a bad rep from what I have seen, thus the great pricing as of recent to restore some of the positive side.
I bought a total of 60 JM 1oz bars 10-20 at a time and a couple of 2013 1oz Silver Pandas. I love that I can send a check through Bill Pay from my bank. No muss no fuss. They do hold the checks for about 7 days and sometimes they take way too long to ship. I had to call them a couple of times asking when my orders were going to ship. Their prices are the lowest. Their inventory is severely lacking. They have all kinds of silver bullion listed but when you click on them nothing is there. I give them a 3. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk - now Free
Heard some good things and bad things about this company. I would say mixed reviews which I do not think is good. Some problems with customer service, slow deliveries due to them selling stuff they do not have, ect. Had one experience with them which was not a good one one. You might want to check out a few youtube's about them. Happy football season everyone.
my experiences with them have always been good. once when gold plunged they did take an extra 10 days but the prices are usually pretty good. from what I've heard they're actually owned by one of the biggest bullion sellers.
I give Goldmart a 4. I've placed 6-7 orders from $500-3000 with them. no problems with any so far over a 2 1/2 yr period. they have some of the best prices. I didn't go a 5 because of the limited selection but then if I just want bullion, gold or silver, it's all about ounces/$. any old silver will do for me then. If I want limited edition products there are other places for that. no problems so far for me.
After the 7 business day hold for a personal check, my order should have been shipped 11/27/13. That date was missed, as were several subsequent promised shipping dates, and after being told that my shipment was currently delayed by a snowstorm that left 3 feet of snow in Carson City, which was easily confirmed to be a lie by checking local news reports, I filed a complaint with the BBB. That appears to have gotten their attention, as I received an email shipment confirmation today, 12/17, which includes a notation that I'm "complaining to the bbb" where they have an F rating that I wish I'd checked before placing the order. A company that advertises its products to be "in stock" and "ready to ship!", not only when an order is placed but continually thereafter, should ship the order within a couple of days after payment clears. When they don't, and when excuses for the delay are transparent lies, they prove themselves to be untrustworthy. I won't be doing any more business with this company and would not recommend them to anyone.
I picked up a bit of silver and gold from them recently. No complaints. They do have issues with their supply where some people have waited for months for delivery. I never had any issues. Their customer service is not that great, but the prices they have make it all well worth it! Call them ahead of time and ask if the item you want is in stock?
I wonder how many people here DID do that and STILL had to wait...this company might have great prices but should you really have to deal with lying? " yes it's in stock...'pays'...waiting waiting ...'LIED TO'...waiting waiting....LIED TO AGAIN.....month later...STILL NOT SHIPPED. the problem is they try to play the spreads with your cash and thus you have to wait and wait for that price...but wonder if you just waited as long as they did to ship your purchase if you would have gotten a better price??? When your company receives an F from the BBB you REALLY had to screw stuff up BADLY and INTENTIONALLY too. companies that have straight told the BBB ""we're not in business for the customers but to make us alot of money and if we piss off customers for that then it's all good" and they get a rating of a C or D... An F is like saying " We guarantee you anything you need to hear us say so you send us money and we may or may not actually ship your order sometime in the near future..but 1st you need to wait for us to make a profit on it and continue to roll that over and over again and again. OH and if you dare question us we WILL tear into you and say anything bad we can about you cause once we have your money your at OUR mercy and we claim to have none.
I made 2 purchases from them this year. Both went fine and orders were in my hands within 5 business days of placing order with credit card.
