Nice Jim! First Federal is a whole bunch of places, based on my research anyway. And I do see where these coins are being shopped for $595 each! I'm not in it to make money, I already got a good deal, and besides, since my coin guy knows that I'm honest, I'm sure I'll have some good karma coming my way in the future.

I *may* go to another dealer and sell this coin, after all I don't really collect Panda's. Might trade it for an AGE if I can pull it off.

Yep, he did. I'm thinking about trading him my last one for a 2013 1th oz. AGE in original packaging and a DANSCO for the ASE's. Should be a good even trade.

    bty, what are AGE's?

I've been throwing old coins in a box for 35 yrs. What's the best way to have them appraised, or checked out?

I have a phillipines (sp) silver peso, 1oz, that says United states of america and phillipines on the other side. Date 1909, worth anything? Also got a 1943 steel penny, that's mis-stamed, anything there?

I have not looked at these coins in 25 yrs, Probably a millionaire and did not even know it.....

AGE = American Gold Eagle. As far as your other questions, I have no idea, I'm a new collector myself. :) There's LOT'S of folks here that can help with just about anything. I'd post those in the correct forums like Coin Chat and World Coins, etc. If you're a millionaire, remember, you've got a friend named Mike!

No I didn't. I would *assume* that a PCGS certification would suffice. It did for my coin guy anyway.
