I noticed that 2014 is the year of the horse, and I already have started collecting the Pamp bars lunar series, so that will be the next one I will be buying when it finally comes out. I am thinking about buying the Australian lunar series. I know I can afford the Dragon and the snake from them, but not sure about before that. Is it worth buying the series?

Option three: they are cool coins, but yes, it's over priced bullion.;)

I like the Australian series. They have a distinctive look. But I don't collect them.

I'm trying to collect the Pamp lunar bars and the Somaliland lunar year coins, but it's hard to find the Pamp Snake and earlier year Somaliland coins at the right price.

Fiji's new opal lunar coin series look really interesting with very low mintage (and high price). But I haven't scored one yet.

I'm happy to buy the Australian lunar series. Low 300k mintage. High premiums but a premium I'm confident I'll get back.

I'm also happy to buy the Australian lunar series more because of the designs. Not currently worried about getting premiums back.

Option 4: No, I try very hard to avoid buying Chinese products.

Do you mean products that show off what people consider Chinese culture? Or products that are actually made by Chinese companies or in this case mint?

Royal Canadian Mint has launched 2014 coins marking the year of horse. They have come up with three designs and I love them all. But, as I’m not an avid collector but a shred investor, I would only buy low-premium bullions.

I like the Lunar coins also. I can't wait until the U. S. Mint begins producting them. I am pretty sure it will never happen, but it would be nice to see.

I like the Perth Australian lunars the best. Their bullion Lunars are very nice quality. The Canadian and Chinese stuff is too overpriced for me.
