http://www.kitco.com/news/2013-07-2...-See-Further-Gains-If-20-Breached-SocGen.html Interesting article from Kitco. The 4 year time frame and the "remains in surplus" surprised me. This seems counter to the articles that discuss the opposite in its industrial traits. Any thoughts?
Seems like all these articles just post a random number.. a random time frame in whatever direction silver is going that week. If silver is going up in a few months the same article will say 100/0z silver in 2018! And vice verse. I ask myself what I think silver is going to do.. then decide to buy/sell/ or hold.. don't even read the articles anymore
The more I think about silver the more I realize no one really knows when anything is going to happen with silver. To me your talking about 3 1/2 years from now, and just like my post about where will silver be in 10 years, its more or less a guess. I think something drastic would have to happen for silver to explode like most silver bugs hope for. In the big picture that is not a good thing. If silver is up over $100 the economy is in the crapper which is not good for anyone.

I asked myself "Why would Kitco post an article that predicts a fall in the value of something it's selling?" I figure a lot of people are predicting $5-10 silver by 2017, so this might be an attempt to convince people that silver is not going to fall as much as they think it will. So I ask myself another question and I come to the same conclusion that silv has: "What's brown and sounds like a bell?" DUNG!!!
HA HA! I was being a little trollish, but seriously that was a bad article. I real alot of Kitco articles every week and they have some good writing here and there. They also serve up tons of dung! They are fairly biased towards bullish, especially since they fired Jon Nadler for being a constant bear heel, but overall they do a decent job of reporting the markets. The article linked to in the OP is typical daily "blah blah blah" but suddenly at the end with no arguments or logical reasoning its "and silver holding at $15 for 2017" out of nowhere. WHAT?! Gimme a break! Why are they even discussing 2017? Oh, because some random bank analyst puked up some numbers.
Alright, silver at $15…. per mili-ounce LOL. I wonder where all this silver and even gold price prediction is heading to. All this makes my head spin!
