based on CDN current bid - ask prices: 2012 annual 6 coin set should be over $130.00 a set to a maximum retail price of $140.00. how? let's figure it out.

2012w burnished unc ASE CDN bid 50.00 ask 55.00
2012s four coins presidential dollar proof set bid 48.00 ask 52.00
2012s sacagawea dollar proof bid 9.00 ask 9.75
sealed wrapper for the set - few dollars.

    set bid 110.00, ask 120.00
minimum retail cost 130.00, maximum retail cost 140.00

beside this. total set is only 28,368. should this set have a chance to push more higher?. your opinion. thanks.

note: most 2012 mint products mintage were low.

Since there are no coins unique to the set, I don't see the price going very far.

2012w burnished unc american eagle silver dollar is quite undervalue. it can go another $50.00 more. so as to the set. just my opinion.

With a mintage of over 230,000 coins, it has a pretty low mintage for an ASE. You have to consider how many collectors of ASEs have to have every variety. For me, $50 is about where they should be.

OK, indulge an old codger.......what the devil is CDN?

And I'm clueless as to what six coin annual set you are referring to is. The silver quarters proof set? There's no danged silver eagles in that one. Please 'splain........

If I may reflect my friend, I believe you are pounding sand. These sets are never going to amount to much in the aftermarket.

Yep! "Pounding sand." The old game of trying to chase down premiums out of the recently minted where low mintages are perceived to hide easy ROI (that's, Return on investment, for Mr. Ken;) ). One may call this the elaine-game. :D

Remember Ken, you're in the Bullion Investing section and you are thinking like a collector attracted by the numismatic products mentioned by the OP who is diligently crunching investment number ideas against strongly marked up products not actual bullion coins.

I don't equate fishing mintages for investment opportunities so much the same thing as collecting and so while some have spun their wheels and exhausted themselves from extensively posting and positing about this form of activity (particularly with numismatic coins discussed in the bullion section), the mentality is still out there in some who like playing with numbers and day dreaming about what could be, but sort of muddy the waters of bullion investing and doing so with numismatic products.

Oh dear, am I indeed in the bullion section? I feel like the Emperor.....with no clothes.

Dang! Gotta distinguish better between these discussions........

You can fish to your heart's delight, but you're probably better off getting lucky than thinking this research will make you good. Sometimes it's just dumb luck and collecting the right things...like the Hawaii P 5oz, or even the Hawaii bullion 5oz...

2012 six coins mint annual uncirculated dollar set mintage is only 28,368. there were five burnished uncirculated coins considered to be the lowest. four 2012 burnished unc. presidents and a 2012 burnished unc sacagawea dollar. you figure out what will be the price of this set. i think it should be over $250.00.
