Had one of my best silver days this weekend at a flea market.

Picked up the following for $16 a piece:

    1994 Silver Eagle
    1996 Silver Eagle
    1997 Silver Eagle
    2002 Silver Eagle
    1882 O Morgan Dollar (AU)
    1889 Morgan Dollar (AU)
    1896 Morgan Dollar (AU)
    1922 Peace Dollar x 2 (AU)
    1923 Peace Dollar

1 gem BU roll of 1961 Roosevelt Dimes for $75
1 gem BU roll of 1959 Washington Quarters $185
1 gem BU toned Washington Carver Commemorative half for $17.

This was probably the best Ive ever done for the quantity and quality of what I got.

I was pretty shocked to see the ASE's for sale that cheap. Needless to say, I had a big smile on my face yesterday.

He was charging 16x face on all dollars. Since ASE's say 1 dollar on them, thats what he was charging. I was shocked. Then to find the "key date" ASE in the pile was icing on the cake. I went back to his booth today with about $500 to see what else he had....he sold out yesterday. Imagine that!

Yeah you got a huge steal on everything especially that 96. What were the conditions of them?

The ASE's are BU. My buddy picked up 6 ASEs from him at the same time yesterday and he had all different dates. They were not in plastic sleeves or anything, just sitting in a big pile of other dollars (lots of Ikes) He was trying to sell those at $4 a piece, not a good deal as they were clad.

I've gotten some false hopes recently. I found an estate sale recently where the guy has a pile of Pre 64 quarters and dimes in zip loc bags. He wanted $8 for a quarter! I showed him what they were going for on eBay and on local coin shops but he wouldn't have it. I had to tell him to go pound sand.

That's crazy... I bought some war nickles for $.83 a piece on Wednesday from a local dealer. I think he was just feeling generous that day cause I've bought a lot from him in the past. I can't believe your estate sale guy wouldn't come down.

A Steal! I would have been suspicious. I would have still prolly hit the ATM and pulled the trigger though.

Yeah...I don't find deals like that very often. He only had 12 war nickels.

Best deal I have ever had on silver. My friend and I were in the right place at the right time. I was able to buy 3 sets of war nickels a few weeks ago for less than 20 dollars (33 coins) and I thought that was as good as I would get.

He had a bunch of roosevelts and mercury dimes too. I went back for those this morning, but they were gone.
