To answer your question Johnson Matthey, Engelhard, Apmex are 3 big names Also if anyone can help me, looking for Heraues 1 oz bars. Anyone know where I can get good pricing with decent shipping. Apmex charges too much.
I will throw in some comments: These 2 names were the top of the 80's & 90's but here's the reality... JM - Only makes their 100 oz Poured Bar. All other sizes are subcontracted out to other mints. Engelhard - Out of the Bullion Business for more than a decade. As far as Apmex - Doesn't manufacture. They get different mints to make their brand.
