Looking for opinions on the Stacker Bars sold by Scottsdael Silver. Are they worth the premium or overpriced?
Some people like them. I prefer second hand bars minted in the 80s. If you do buy them watch out. These bars have been faked recently. Also, all bars will be spot plus a premium. Buy what you enjoy stacking.
These are very cool bars. With wire transfer they are like 2.50 over spot and it you buy 2 or more they are free shipping.
Can you provide reference to this? I've never seen the 10 oz Stacker fake attempted. 1 oz Bars & Rounds from every major private mint and Eagles & Maples have been faked but knowing the extreme detail that the Stackers have they are nearly impossible to fake. This is one of the reasons they outsell most private mint silver on ebay and sometimes get a premium near ASE's.
