Maybe. Yet, the 2011 set has two coins with mintages closer to the 1995W, than the 2006 set yet it sells for less of a markup than the 2006 set. Seems out of whack, probably due to most sets concentrated in flippers’ hands (still flipping) and a distain for the set from collectors who got left out - both of these things will pass.

Yea yea only "flippers" got the sets and only "collectors" got left out....not.

Most of those people are the same thing. At high prices who here did not flip a set that was planned on keeping? Just like the 2012 sets that had lower prices those same people kept them.

Yeah? Yes & no, I bought a couple to keep regardless of price & a couple to flip, but not regardless the price.

I waited until one minute after 12 noon to purchase. I had seven different singles and sets to buy that I had placed on my wish list. Today, the Perry's Victory 5-ounce "puck" became available, so the West Point ASE set, two 2013-dated "pucks," a burnished uncirculated 2013 ASE, a silver proof set, an uncirculated set and the clad proof set were combined into one order to save on shipping. A nice little haul of brand new goodies will be in the mail shortly.

Hll flipping makes sense if its your business. There are already sets on ebay going for $40+ which is why i picked one up. It will arrive a few days around my birthday. For me i wouldnt sell it unless i got over double.

So, back to the topic. What do you think will be the final audited mintage of the 2013 set? I'm thinking 250,000, but that's a real SWAG.

I bought one set. Ungraded. To complete my "one of every issued silver eagle set"

As of 3 PM yesterday, 251,695 sets were ordered.
Final total will be updated today at 3 PM.
Then, the final total will be adjusted for cancellations and returns.
I'm hoping that today's total will be under 260,000.

Some sets with a ship date of 6/17 and the one I ordered yesterday is 9/30.

My guess is today's update will show around 270k ordered and final mintage will be just under 245-250k.

The diminishing interet in collectors sets was balanced out the excitement of the new finish. I hope they take a break from these sets for a couple years at least.

Yeah, I could use a break too. But, as long as the mint makes a profit, we see more and more and…….

That's a lot. I'll probably cancel the set I ordered yesterday.

Yeah, I'll keep two sets and cancel three. If enough do that, it may make the set a good deal.

the cancellation should be small as compare to 2012s two coins set. i expect the final mintage should be around 275,000 set.
