According to their site they have been on the net since 1995. I can only find them online since 2012. They claim to have been around since 1978, again no mention of that anywhere.

Their website says "BBB accredited", but the BBB says they are not, so they are lying. I turned them into the BBB. (Business can be fined for falsely saying they are).

    A review I found:

I have been cheated by this company. Claim have sent the bullion but never produce any tracking shipment. never answer my call anymore the owe me 3600 usd!!!

So personally I would stay away from them.

Update: They have a Verisign Logo as well, which is a authentication of sorts. It does not work, so it's most likely fake as well.

Well I spoke to them again just to inquire about my original order placed..

The person who i spoke to told me my ORDER was never process due to my review of their site and that his Mgr did not want to do business with me.. Apparently they must be members on COINTALK.. Maybe they can advertise on this site and
do legit businesss.. I NEVER reviewed their SITE. I was just asking to other members input!

For the record i never said PURE GOLD company "took my money" I simple said I had a bad feeling though i already processed my order.. And again for the record My order was never executed by Company and they never charged my creditcard.. So this company is still unknown to me and I CANNOT SAY anything negative, EXCEPT they would not complete my deal.. WIsh I could have done business with them cause they appear to have good prices. But they dont appear to want my business!

They seem pretty pricey. May I ask, what drew you to them in the first place? There are well known trusted websites for your builion needs.

I like that they offer some bullion typically only found in Europe, but because I couldn't find much information on them, and they didn't seem to be one of the "big bullion sites", I decided to just stick with APMEX and golddealer since I already had good dealings with them in the past.

They had a greatdeals on 2008-W buffalo 1 oz coins which normally cost 3k+ for 2k.. . They also had a 2011-w eagle 1oz for i think 2k which is a 2500-3k coin..

I will check out golddealer.. NEver heard of them

More than likely they have a search service that notifies them whenever their name pops up on the net.

People search into the lesser known areas to save a few dollars in premium. maybe most of the time they can save a % or 2, but the risk is high. We here on CT read many times a years of those who are involved in $$$$ dollar disagreement or non-delivery. Doesn't make sense. If one can't pay a reasonable commercial premium on gold and silver, they should save their money.IMO.

I'm a frequent customer of Pure Gold Global, I've completed over $2 Million Dollars of transactions with this company and can surely say they are the best bullion company I've ever done business with. I have also tried Apmex, Monex and multiple other gold dealers but Pure Gold Global surely stands out in all my experiences. I came across this blog and was absolutely shock that you guys have no idea how outstandingly great Pure Gold Global is. I know for sure they are much more popular around the world than the US, I've had friends from all over the world talking about the excellence of this company. So I would just like to assure everyone, I spoke to my Relationship Manager and he assured me that BBB page is a error and terrible mix up, they are trying to get that problem solved as quickly as possible. From all my experiences, I would recommend this company to everyone.

I don't know about you guys, but when a one post wonder comes here singing the praises of a company that I would ordinarily run away from, that means a lot to me!

No one here has ever done business with the company, but you seem to have vast knowledge about them. I am a customer and therefore can and will vouch for them. They have treated me great so of course I will do the same for them.

Who claimed to have vast knowledge about them? What we know is:

The original poster had issues with an order of his. He spoke to someone on the phone and was definitely not reassured by their professionalism.

They claim to be accredited by the BBB. They are not accredited by the BBB. 99.9% of legitimate/reputable companies do not have such issues, "terrible mix-ups" aside.

They have a broken Verisign logo.

There are tons of illegitimate companies out there with issues such as above.

And....we have a poster who clearly joined this site to post positive things about them. Gush gush gush. Granted this poster also has horrible grammar and English skills, which coincidentally (?) usually also is correlated with scamming sites. There is nothing concrete whatsoever to back up their claims of what a great company it is.

Given the information we have, what would you think? Or, more usefully, would you like to provide us some actual documentation in any form of your claims about the company?

Do some research on the leading gold dealers in America. Infact, just do some research on the leading banks. All of them have bad customer reviews from persons who have had bad experiences with them. Apmex has 55 complaints on BBB. That does not mean the entire company is a scam. You use such strong words so freely. I believe before you call someone a criminal Mr. Lord, you should have something concrete or maybe actual documentation Mr. Judge.

If I worked for Pure gold I would simply create a post regarding a good experience I've had with them; short simple and sweet would be believable. A behemoth paragraph lavishly praising a general bullion company is just plain silly and screams fake. I have always wondered why fake reviews/posters have so much trouble understanding this
