Here's one I just bought. The seller had mis attributed it as a Marcus Aurelius, but the CoinTalk ancient gang set him straight. The reverse of this coin is worn into oblivion, but I liked the portrait. Commodus; 184 AD AE Sestertius, 28mm/22.6g OBV: M COMMODVS ANTON AVG PIVS BRIT; Head laureate right REV: VOTA SUSCEP DECEN P M TR P VIIII IMP VII COS IIII P P S-C; Commodus, togate, standing left sacrificing over a tripod. (RIC 441, Cohen 988)
Thanks for the "Likes" => Mat & brother Bannon => Great coins!! (please keep 'em comin') ... as I've stated, I now must force myself to go on a poop-hunt (wish me luck!!)

A nice addition Steve! Commodus 177-192 AD Denarius 186-189 AD ROME M COMM ANT P FEL AVG BRIT, laureate head right ROMAE AE TERNAE, Roma seated left holding Victory and scepter, C V P P in ex.
Very close, my friend ... but there is still a wee bit of wiggle-room (maybe if you toss-in that Mustang of yours?)
I really like Randy's coin best but will show clubbers (one as, one denarius) since I no longer have that Roma. :smile The denarius is the expanded version with extra implements. I'd really like to have a sestertius of that style.
Great coin dougsmit (and everybody => oh, especially you Randy??!!) :thumb: => I admit that your coin absolutely rocks => but man, my coin pushes your coin down, sits on it, and then makes it scream "uncle"!! Ummmm => man, I hope that you know that I'm just being me, right dawg? (love ya brother!!) .................. Doug always stirs the pot!!
Nice, Geki => yup, this place rocks!!! => great coins, gang!! .... ooops, it's dinner time!! (already?!! .... cheers bros)
I share your pain Steve, I have a yellow lab, she can fill a 5 gallon bucket once a month.. Oh ya, as always awesome coin...:thumb::thumb:
