i baught this for my wife a few weeks ago and paid $40 for it. reading the coa it says only 10,000 were made. i cant find any info or any one selling it online other then the pobjoy mint theres a 1oz gold a 1oz silver and a cupro nickle version. the only one they have for sell is the cupro nickle one and it was $17 im looking for a price range or more info here is the term i was searching google with dolphin 1 oz silver british isles 2006 pobjoy mint
this s the one im referring to cant take a picture at the moment http://www.pobjoy.com/usa/section.php/161/0
ok, I'll bite and say that the value is $17.50 + shipping. I used google and it said.. About 17,300,000 results (0.34 seconds) perhaps google British Virgin Islands 2006 Dolphin Coin
In the UK and previous territories, the reverse has always been nicer than the obverse. Even though I like all animals on coins.
yeah if it was $17 id buy a lot of them cus its 1oz silver and i cant search that term because they also made normal $1 coins that look the same this is $10

It is very strange that it is so poorly documented. Could not find it in any of my world catalogs. It seems like a scarce item. Sold out on the first link. On the second link it is quite expensive.
thank you the numis link has some good info like it being a proof which i wasent aware of but the apex link was a little useless like every site ime finding them on there sold out so i cant find a price
Nice gift anyway. Must send Krause a mail so they can update the catalog. Cannot even find a KM number?
is krause only a book or is there a online catalog been getting a lot of foreign silver at melt and would like to learn about what im getting. found a coin marked netherlands but found a palm tree on it which makes it carcoe or something a worth a few more then what i paid
This is where eBay comes into play as the market of last resort - whatever someone is willing to pay. If you like the design then its always worth having one
i searched ebay first and found nothing the numis link price isent american so i dont know what that is
The most comprehensive online, I believe, is Numismaster that runs on the Krause platform and other is Numista with 37,000 entries.
