Chris, there is a dealer north of me who when I went there last (Silver was around $38/oz) and the dealer was offering 18x face. I was on my way to an auction and brought junk silver to sell on the way. They said they do this because they have a 60 day waiting period where they have to report the coins to the cops before they can even put the coins on the shelf. And when they do, it is usually at a 10% premium above spot. Though I see it as fair business practice that they do tell you what melt is, I just don't see how they could offer such low prices.

$5 per quarter. Since melt is 5.38, you'll make 38 cents a coin assuming they aren't worn down to the bone.
