canada has a 2012 all silver proof set.Every coin in it is silver even the penny is silver

Don't bother the U.S. Mint. They are busy being boring while other mints are making creative products and making crazy money while doing it.

I have a few silver proof sets, but would be more inclined to buy them if they did every coin in silver. How cool would it be to have a silver penny and a silver nickel? CA Mint definitely sets the bar on this, but a lot of their stuff is overpriced so I steer clear except for the 20 for 20 series.

 

I just don't like the enhancing they do with the gold plating on those coins. I DO like the Silver Penny set the RCM sells.

 

I wish the USM would make both silver and gold OMS coins like France and Britain do.
