The .22 is a deadly round. It has a tendency to bounce off bone and hit vital organs. A .22 to the shin can end up in the gut where a higher caliber would just go through the leg.
The enlightened Mayor of New York has made a call for tolerance towards the undead. The Bloomberg Council on Undead Relations has issued a strong warning to anyone considering discharging firearms at zombies, vampires and other non living creatures while feeding. Remember, the undead have rights too and are even rumoured to vote. In the event that you are unable to retreat and are facing an attack it is recommended that you throw deadly 32oz sodas at them.
Bloomberg will not survive the post-apocalypse America. Stay on the thread please. Besides, NO POLITICS

That happened to a friend of mine. He was shot in the left thigh with a .22 and it end up in his right shoulder. He was laid up in the hospital and home in bed for two years recovering.
Here in NJ, flame throwers and everything else is against the law. So I'm just sharpening the edges of some ASEs so I can throw them.

The topic was silver prices going up because of the coming post apocalypse vampire wars. Zombies are not real.
