    LordM Giveaway #83 (Wheat cents)

    Contest status: CLOSED
    Drawing: (@Wizank won)
    Shipping status: shipped 2/15/23
Winner's notice of receipt: Post #67

Hello, everyone, and welcome to the latest giveaway. Recently, Ladymarcovan did some cleaning out of one of our storage units and found some of my old antique mall inventory. In there were a few partial rolls of Red Brilliant Uncirculated Wheat cents from the late 1950s.

The prize for this contest will be five different dates of those: 1955-D, 1956-D, 1957-P, 1957-D, and 1958-D. Plus a Type 1 Lord Marcovan elongated cent from 2019, which was also rolled out on a 1950s vintage Wheat cent, and is one of 200 pieces issued.

To enter: all you have to do is say that you want them, and a word or two about why you want them, or some other coin-related comment of your choice. If you win, please post to this thread later, after you receive your prize, so we'll know you got it.

Alternately, you may enter on someone else's behalf if you do not desire the prize for yourself. Simply state who you would like to receive it, should your entry win the drawing.

The drawing will be held sometime on or after February 1st, 2023, depending on my schedule. You may consider the contest open for entries until such time as I have posted the results of the random drawing.

The contest is totally free of charge, open to everyone, with free worldwide shipping.

    Entry Post

I would like these beautiful cents for my 3 nephews who are so into their coin collections. We had a family holiday party and the youngest of the 3 brought his coin binder to proudly show off all his coins to everyone who would look at them!

I am now introducing them to a specific foreign country's coins so we can learn about that history. It's not just them that are learning, I'm learning this stuff too!

They would be thrilled to win these gorgeous BU cents, so, I'm entering this contest for them. (The only question is how to split these up between 3 of them so that they don't complain "it's not faaaaaiiiiirrrr" when they don't all get the same thing. That's always a challenge, but I will cross that bridge later, if they win. ;)

Thank you so much for this contest Lord M!

That dilemma is easily put to rest.

Note in the intro that I said there were several partial rolls of these in the old storage unit clutter wherein Ladymarcovan found some of my antique mall leftovers.

So if your entry wins the contest, there will be three sets like this!

    There, see? Problem solved! :)

Entry Post. If I'm lucky enough to win, I would like @expat to
receive the goodies. I will cover the postage since our friend
lives in Spain. Maybe one day I will get a chance to visit that
interesting country and meet with him.

No need to send me postage, but thanks. I too would love to visit Spain, but I'd be so itchy to swing a metal detector around over there, it would get distracting, and Ladymarcovan would roll her eyes every time I mentioned that. Or I'd get myself arrested. LOL
