1876 S Liberty Gold double eagle MS63 GEM

    I was considering of investing in a big lot of these coins that are graded by Numistrust Corporation. I am a little skeptical of the grading company and the asking price for each coin. I guess my simple question would be is $2450 a coin fair price. I am new to the site and coin collecting please be nice lol

    I would pass... Stick with NGC and PCGS graded coins... Trust me you'll be glad you did.

    That is a fair price for a MS-63, the problem is that Numistrust overgrades by a few points. I would wait for coin from a trusted grading company like PCGS, NGC or ANACS.

    Thanks for the insight. Are there places where you guys specifically buy coins? I usually use EBAY or goto estate sales and some pawn shops

    Ditto, PCGS, NGC or ANACS are the graders I trust as that is what I've read.

    Try Teletrade or DLRC. I've had some pretty good luck with those guys.
