The reverse proof is fetchin more than the set did. http://www.ebay.com/itm/2012-S-REVE...llion_US&hash=item3379fba9df&autorefresh=true
I love the reverse proof. I hope the Mint will someday release a "D" mintmark reverse proof Silver Eagle.
Oh I'm sure that's in the works. Denver is not known for their proof coins but there has been one commem struck there. Anyone care to hazard a guess at it?
yes, they should come out with limited D mint mark for next american eagle silver dollar special occasion or anniversary. also the mint forgot to commemorate 30th anniversary of modern commemorative series. for those who like gold coin. a ten and five dollars gold coin set. and for those who like silver coin. a one and 1/2 dollar silver set. all set should be in limited mintage and one for each family only. my suggestion is 5,000 set for gold and 100,000 set for silver. no individual coin option.
That was posted before the Mint established the actual price. At the time of that post, we were all still trying to guess what the price would be.
Silvertowne got more stock in, pricing is now $290 for 70s. They have NGC and a PCGS "multiholder" Looks like they raised ALL the prices on the 70s to $290
Six PCGS 70 sets sold on eBay this afternoon for between $350.26 and $382.88 per set...nice deal (for the seller), considering you could purchase the same sets retail at Silver Towne a week ago for $239.95
the set should gradually come down another 10% to between $165.00 to $180.00. price of silver is quite weak. another batch of this set soon to ship out. 2012s reverse proof became the highest mintage within reverse proof family. we can see CDN inter-dealers bid price is only $100.00 a piece. this year i will pass all u.s. mint items. let's see next year products.
except e-bay. but ebay and paypal imposes fees. how much dealers going to pay for this set?. i think dealers bidding price will still be the same from what they bought from the u.s. mint. 5% below mint selling price. or somewhere around $140.00 to $145.00 a set.
