2012-W ASE Uncirculated Coin

I just placed my order for the 2012-W UNC ASE. Since I got the 2011, I figured that I should also get the 2012. Is anyone else in for this one?

I have been getting all the Wunc coins since they came out. made a big profit on the 06s. I get 2 of each year now, one for my collection and one to sell if there is a profit at some point.

 

Yeah, just read my email about that. I really want an 06 more as I have the 2007W and 08W. We'll see, my money's a bit on the down side. Guess I'll hop on the bay and sell a couple big ticket items. j/k I'm broke so I'll wait a spell. :thumb:

How long have they been selling the ASE W UNC's? I thought it started last year. I guess that I missed the boat since at least 2006. Did they also make them in 2009?

 

I think they skipped a year or 2

 

These were first issued in '06 in the 20th anniversary set. Then were sold later separately (to the ire of some who thought they were going to be exclusive to the set.....sound familiar?)
They skipped '09 and '10 because of planchet shortages.
Started again in '11 which are still available from the mint.

I'm in for a '12 BTW.

 

final 2011w ASE burnished uncirculated mintage should be around 500,000. currently is about 397,959. add 80,000 or less for the 2011 uncirculated set. which includes the four presidents. now it will fight for the lowest mintage against 2006w for the burnished unc. category. 2006w now stand at 466,573. my estimate for unc set is between 50,000 - 80,000.

2006w - 466,573
2007w - 621,333
2008w - 533.757
2011w - 397,959 (not final)
2012w - just started.

 

There was no 2011 set issued.

 

I have a subscription for the "burnished" eagle. I get one every year.

 

thanks d.t.menace. the set is for 2012. that's mean the 2011w burnished will become the new rarest of that category at around 400,000 more or less. 2006w got 466,573.

 

I am going to get my 2012W ASE in the uncirculated dollar coin set coming out on 9/6/12. Nice chance to get a high quality uncirculated 2012 Native American dollar with the Indian/Horse reverse. TC

 

I'm in for them. Got a standing order for five every year. Took a real beating on the price last year........

 

what will be the price for 2012w burnished unc silver eagle with five pcs of dollar coins?. we have 2012s silver eagle proof with a five dollars bill at $72.95. my guess is most likely to be $59.95.

 

The last one (2008) cost me $37.95. Granted, silver was way lower 4 years ago than it is today, but if they charge that kind of money for this set (annual uncirculated dollar coin set) they can keep it........

p.s. i think price for 2012w unc set might be higher than i expected. say $64.95.

 

But perhaps you will miss your chance to get an S Burnished ASE coin mistakenly struck and placed in the set in error if you pass on it. TC
