Sorry, I couldn't resist. I was going to go into this long diatribe about them syncing their cardbox to their new computer system and finding a current customer buying mint sets in the 20's, but didn't want to go too overboard.

 

Looks like they fixed it. 10/31/12 is expected ship date again. TC

 

October???? Oh, man, I thought they were saying September the last I heard. I think this is going to be 1 of those "it isn't over until it's over" situations.

As we know from past Mint situations, almost anything is possible, so I won't believe anything until it's in my hands.

Yes, it is 217,351 as of 5 PM on 3 July. I'm guessing a mintaqge of 235-250k but it is quite a mystery on the amount they will sell today and tomorrow.

july 3-to july 4 and july 4 to july 5 my guess is over 85,000 set. if the mint report its result at 3pm. then you still have few hours not counting till 5 pm closing. that will be report on july 6 at 3 pm. then you also have a lot of returning afterward. so by july 9 monday. or july 11 mint sales report. it will be more clearer. my guess for total mintage will be over 300,000. or i should said between 300,000 to 350,000.

 

Thanks. On the first day of sales I only ordered one set because I'm out of storage space. Nice set. 350K is a pretty big number I think.

 

I think only one set for me as well. Too much headache if I try to cherrypick a nice one from multiples, and I'm not a flipper.

I ordered 2 sets on the first day and my order shipment day still says 7/27. They better right, since they last shipped my order to me at my address # with no street name. My 2 day air UPS turned out to be over 10 days tracking it down so I could pick it up. Although, it was nice of UPS to still send me a postcard to my non existant adderss to let me know it wasn't deliverable! Geeeeze

 

Anybody planning on buying a set tomorrow?? I bet it's up to 300,000 now but I may buy another. We'll get them 3 months before Xmas. Even being close to Xmas, total profit may only be $30. Anyone?

 

I ordered 4 sets today and my ship date is 10/31. I don't really care about the total mintage number, as these are for the family.

 

yep- actually I backed off of that- but they will be a nice set

 

I ordered another set, so now I have a total of two sets coming my way. Worst case scenario, I sell a set for a $30 profit, I hope. Anyone else order today?
