Toning on Kookaburras

    Here is how it looks.

    Is there any way to get rid of it. To many burra coins with this kind of toning I encountered recently.

    All silver tones over time. The environment can accelerate the process. There are a variety of dips you can buy that will remove the toning, but be aware that if done improperly or repeatedly, it will also remove all of the luster from the coin. This probably won't seriously hurt the value of a bullion coin, but neither will the toning. The best advice is to leave it alone. If it really bothers you, sell it and buy a new one. Keep it in a dry environment away from chemicals.
