2012 ASE 2 piece set is scheduled!

If they are going to make the coins after they sell them, the ship date should be months after that and by looking at the sales figures you should be able to tell if its a flop or not and cancel the order before they ship out if need be. I will order 5 sets on the first day and cancel 4 of them if sales go over 500k... If on the last day of sale the sales are still under 300k i will order 5 more.

I wonder how many casual collectors that just order coins during the holiday's will miss this set because of the short selling period? Three months between the release of the sales date and end of sales is not that much for someone that is not a hardcore collector.

There is a one month sales window, June 7 through July 5. Shipping is to begin in late July.

I see someone has a presale up on ebay already. Selling just the RP (no OGP) for $179.99. Can't see on mobile, but he has 111 left so he has probably sold quite a few already. Funny thing is, he says that he will have them in-hand and ready to ship by June 10th!

 

same seller has other coin at 79.99 and 111 of them so i dont think sold any but ya doesnt seem like he read things too carefully to think he will have them by june 10th

I sent him/her a message in an effort to save them some trouble down the road. We'll see if they remove the item or keep it there.

 

Yeah I'd bet he is saying he'll have them by June 10th because that is 30 days away and the max for an Ebay pre-sale... Just so happens to be May 10th... hrm~ Hopefully Ebay will suspend his auctions~ I mean heck the damn things don't even go on sale until the 7th!

 

Yeah, I'll get one and maybe an extra to flip. There's gonna be someone who will want it and if I can help out another collector and shove a $20 bill in my pocket for selling, I'll do it.

 

So i wonder how many people and companys are going be like the ebay guy and buy 100 sets.

 

Probably not too many companies, but lots of people I would guess. Many will only know that last years coin tripled in price so this one must be a sure thing.

 

Oh dear. We're not going to have to listen to their whining when this one doesn't triple in the after market are we?
