I dug out my coins to have a friend practice some photography. It's been a good couple years since I glanced on my first completed set as a kid, so I thought I would see what everyone else has. Let's post those Roosevelt Dimes, circulated or full torch! Here's one every Rosy collector MUST have:

My uncle knows when coins were silver, and he occasionally comes across silver dimes. he found one and it had a black spot under Roosevelt's nose. It was a Hitler dime. we had some good laughs on that one.

Mint sets from 1956-58 are pretty well known to have spawned outrageous toners. The coin belongs to member SkyMan and is NGC MS67*.

Here's my 1996W from my 1996 mint set. I purchased it at
the mint in Philidelphia in '96. Hard to get a decent picture
    through the cellophane packaging.---John

Good timing! Just trying out my new camera and testing it on some rosie toners.

I found six (6) of these "grease filled die" coins in one 1946-s roll. This is a picture of two of them side by side. You'll notice that the "U" in PLRIBUS is missing and the "L" and "R" on either side is weak. Also, some of the Oak leaves are missing details. Half of the upper right leaf (near "E" in AM[E]RICA) is missing half its detail and the one just to the left is completely missing.

I added the reverse of robec's 1956 Rosey (Post # 4) for comparison.

That is really neat yakpoo. I enjoy seeing grease filled dies with that are so dramatic.

That dime should be on a Frankenberry cereal box!

Sorry, should have hit "reply with quote" to wmercer's dime.

This one is just to give us all perspective on how old McBlazer really is. ;) Here's my birthyear dime.
