Is it normal for a proof Maple Leaf to rattle in it's Mint capsule?

I just noticed my 1 oz gold 1989 proof Maple Leaf has a slight front to back rattle inside it's sealed Mint capsule. No side to side rattle, just front to back as the capsule is flipped from obverse to reverse. Is this normal? Do they all do that? None of my US proofs do it (I don't think) in gold or platinum.

This deserves an answer. I don't know if it is typical for that type of packaging, but it certainly isn't right. Coins should not rattle in a proper holder.

The 2012 bullion Maple Leaf rattles a bit in the sealed Mint capsule I got a few weeks ago. Just not sure if the capsule came from the Canadian Mint or the dealer...?

Nick, that would probably be the dealers capsule. I think all regular bullion Maple Leafs leave the Mint in tubes packed in a "monster" box--no capsules. I think I will send the coin in for NGC slabbing. That way, it won't rattle and I won't be wondering if I got a fake.
